Put Some Thought Into It!
We try to emphasize this as much as we can. Your guests want to know what you are doing on your honeymoon, so descriptions like "dinner for two at a restaurant" are not going to work. Make your descriptions as thorough as possible and try to add a little fun. Get your guests excited by your trip and they will be much more likely to gift you for it.
Add Some Images or Links To Outside Information
After Our Day provides you with the ability to add images to your registry. Take advantage of this. Your guests not only want to know what you're doing, but they want to see pictures of it as well. Show them a glimpse of the beautiful sunsets you plan on seeing, or the cool beach-side cafe! Show them just what they're getting you!

This is another big key to making your registry successful. The more fun an item is, the more likely someone will want to get it for you! Your honeymoon registry is your chance to be as silly as you want. Instead of listing airfare as an item, list "Membership to the Mile High Club". The more creative you can be, the better!

Many honeymoon couples make the mistake of listing generic items for expensive prices. An example from a recent couple was that they put 10 units of airfare on their registry for $100 per unit. The high cost of the item highly limits those who can buy it for you. Instead of listing airfare, think of breaking it down into smaller, less-expensive items. Let your guests buy you your seatbelts, blankets, and pillows. When it comes to your accommodations, give your guests the opportunity to buy you your room service, extra towels, and even let them sponsor the bed!
Give them a Choice!
Always try to add a "Guests Choice" gift to your registry that lets your guest tell you what they want you to do. Some of your guests may have traveled to your honeymoon destination previously and may remember a tasty restaurant or cool local hang-out. If you let them sponsor a dinner there for you, they'll get a kick out of it and you'll get a new experience that you might have missed-out on.
Bring Back Pictures!
The last important tip for any successful honeymoon registry is to take pictures of you doing the things that you registered for so that you can share them with the guests who sponsored them for you. If one of your guests sponsored your surf-board rentals, spell out a thank you message in the sand and get a picture taken of you and your new spouse with your boards to bring back to that guest. This will give you a chance to say thank-you in a customized way and your guest will get a very personalized sign of your appreciation.
